I write from River Oaks Community Church (EPC) in Winston-Salem, NC. The 61st meeting of the Presbytery of the Mid-Atlantic is in session and I am enjoying the lecture by Dr. Douglas Kelley of RTS, Charlotte, NC on the life of John Calvin as a pastor (on the occasion of Calvin’s 500th birthday). I now want to buy his first installment of his current project–Systematic Theology, volume 1 of 3. God is very gracious in bringing our church into this wonderful body of presbyterians.
